Abstract: Archives as an important part of social resources, its security, integrity and authenticity has been paid attention to by all walks of life. The rapid development and wide application of block chain technology not only brings opportunities for the development of archives management, but also brings risks. Based on the connotation and key technologies of block chain, this paper analyzes the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats of block chain technology in file management by using SWOT analysis method, and further puts forward a variety of development strategies to maximize advantages, avoid disadvantages, seize opportunities and meet challenges. The purpose of this paper is to provide a reference value point for the relevant theory and practical application of "block chain+archives", to greatly improve the coupling of archives, and to make archives deeply participate in social activities.
