Abstract: Starting from a TV program and a film-related book, this paper discusses the memory value and realization approach of film art archive based on the concept of the film art archives, and with the help of literature, news and online cases. The memory value of  film art archives is expressed in two levels: collective memory value and individual memory value. The realization approach of the memory value of film art archives mainly includes: materializing and preserving memory, arousing and supporting memory, disseminating and inheriting memory, constructing or shaping memory.
