Abstract: The family file is a kind of archive. It records the social activities of members of the family or family in different periods in the form of different records such as written records and audio-visual records. The establishment of family files can effectively improve the efficiency of family management, promote family harmony, play a role in solving family conflicts and disputes, and be the patron saint of family health. However, at present, only a few families in China have established family files, and most of these established family files only stay at the stage of family data compilation. They do not have real archives and it is difficult to play the value of family files. Therefore, this paper analyzes and studies the existing problems from the perspective of professional management of archives. Based on the experience of individuals in the arrangement of family files, this paper puts forward suggestions on the collection, classification, arrangement and preservation of family files.
